It was a comforting and fun environment without sacrificing professionalism
I was asked for input before I sat down for my hair and makeup to be exquisitely applied.
Meanwhile, my clothes were being gently steamed and the music and personalities of the trio provided the ideal ambiance for my "it girl" experience.
I was handled with care after each outfit change, to perfect my sophisticated, fun, and professional images.
From suggesting the most flattering poses, the enthusiastic encouragement, and making sure every aspect of my image was top tier; there was no stone left unturned!

As a Black and Queer woman who STILL craves representation that makes me feel proud this Photoshoot is especially for those of us who didn’t get the luxury of always seeing ourselves on television screens and magazine covers.
My desire is to photograph BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities beautifully, with the dignity and respect that we are owed.
It’s important to me that this work reflects the rich and deep diversity that we hold as people of the global majority.
And while all are welcome, it’s important for me to say this one is especially for US.

Hi, I’m Damaly.
And if there’s one thing about me you should know, it’s that I love to show off all of the beautiful sides of life. The fun, the glorious, and my personal favorite, the messy.
As humans it’s impossible to be perfect yet I encounter TOO many clients whose fear of being on camera stem from their need for everything to be perfectly in place.
You know what we miss when we only go for perfection….FUN!
