A Family Affair

What better way to officially kick off this blog page than a post about family!

With spring comes many birthdays in my tribe. To celebrate my mother and grandmother this year, I planned a special portrait session for the both of them because 1. Who else would I want to gift myself to than the two most important women in my lives and 2. I really wanted them to enjoy this experience and get some images of themselves that they would never forget.

This is their reveal video, which shows the experience and their true honest reaction to seeing their images. My family is hilarious, loud, opinionated and does not hold back so watching them react to my work is usually nerve wrecking and satisfying. This video is as personal as it can get because it is a look into a part of what is home for me and I left nothing out. You get to hear the opinions, jokes and wonder.

My biggest hope was that they loved it. Take a look to see if I nailed that or not.
